This Privacy Policy explains how RiddleRush, the Android game developed by Flackey Lab (Flakron Saidi), handles information when you use the app. The Android package name is com.flakronsaidi.riddlesrush.
You can play without creating an account. The app stores game information on your device and uses Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) for advertising and consent. These services may process user and device information as described below.
1. Local game data and Android backup
RiddleRush stores the following information in the app's private storage on your device:
- Game statistics, such as points, games played, correct answers, and accuracy.
- Achievement progress, unlocked achievements, and related notifications.
- Your sound and vibration settings.
- Preferences about showing game rules again.
Temporary session information is also used to maintain the active game when Android recreates the screen or restores the app process. Local multiplayer is played on the same device and does not create online player accounts.
RiddleRush does not operate its own account service or gameplay-data server. Game statistics and achievement progress are not sent by the app to a Flackey Lab gameplay backend.
Android backup and device transfer
Android backup is enabled for the app. Depending on your device, operating-system version, and backup settings, Android may back up eligible app data to your Google Account or transfer it to another device. This can include preferences, statistics, and achievement data. Restoring a backup may restore previously saved data after reinstalling the app.
Backup storage, security, restoration, and deletion are managed by Android, your device provider, and your backup settings. See Google's Android backup guidance.
2. Advertising and third-party services
RiddleRush displays banner advertisements and offers optional rewarded video advertisements to unlock hints in single-player games. Advertising requires a network connection and may not always be available.
Google AdMob
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share information for advertising, measurement, analytics, service performance, and fraud prevention. According to Google's SDK documentation, this includes:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate a general location.
- App and advertising interactions, such as launches, taps, and video views.
- Diagnostic and performance information about the app and SDK.
- Device and account identifiers, including the Android advertising ID and app set ID where applicable.
The information processed depends on the SDK, device settings, region, consent status, and the advertising services involved. Google may process information on servers outside your country under its own privacy terms and applicable safeguards. Advertising services operate separately from the local game statistics described above.
Consent and privacy choices
The app uses Google's UMP SDK to update advertising consent information and display a consent form when required and available. Ad requests are gated by the consent status supplied by UMP. Where UMP requires access to privacy options, the app displays Privacy choices in Options, allowing you to review or change the choices presented by Google.
Limiting personalized advertising does not necessarily stop all advertising-related data processing. Limited or non-personalized advertisements may still involve information needed for delivery, security, measurement, or fraud prevention.
For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy, How Google uses information for advertising, and Google Mobile Ads SDK data disclosures.
3. Your choices and deletion
- Reset game progress: Open Options and choose Reset data to clear game statistics, achievements, and their stored progress and notifications. This action does not reset every app preference or Google's advertising information.
- Clear local app data: Use Android Settings → Apps → RiddleRush → Storage → Clear storage / Clear data to remove the app's local data. Labels can vary by device. Uninstalling also removes the app's local storage.
- Manage backups: Review your Android or device-provider backup settings. Clearing local storage or uninstalling does not necessarily delete an existing backup, and a later restore may bring eligible data back.
- Review advertising choices: Use Options → Privacy choices when that button is available. You can also manage, reset, or delete the advertising ID through the advertising privacy controls in your Android settings, where supported.
- Third-party requests: Information processed by Google is managed through Google's privacy controls and policies. Clearing RiddleRush's local data does not by itself delete information already processed by Google.
There is no RiddleRush account to delete. For privacy questions or requests concerning information you have provided directly to Flackey Lab, contact [email protected]. We cannot retrieve game progress from a Flackey Lab server because the app does not upload it to such a service.
4. Security, retention, and support correspondence
Local game data is stored in the app's private Android storage. Google states that data collected by its Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Local game data remains on your device until it is reset, cleared, or removed by uninstalling, subject to Android backup and restoration. Google and other services involved in advertisement delivery apply their own retention and deletion rules; this policy does not promise a fixed deletion period for their data.
If you email us, we receive the email address, message, and any details or attachments you choose to provide. We use that correspondence to answer your inquiry, provide support, and address the issue you report. Avoid sending sensitive information that is unnecessary for your request. Support correspondence is retained as needed to handle the inquiry and any applicable legal obligations. You may contact us about deleting information you supplied directly.
5. Children's privacy
RiddleRush is intended for users aged 13 and above and is not designed to target children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information directly to us, please contact us so we can review and address the request. Advertising services are subject to their own privacy policies and applicable requirements.
6. Contact and policy updates
